The college has been named as the Dr. C.C.MATTEI ELECTRO HOMOEOPATHIC ALTERNATIVE MEDICAL INSTITUTE, after the name of the historical place. Where it is situated, is the city of prestigious Monument and hills, Hyderabad the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

THE COUNCIL OF ELECTRO HOMOEOPATHIC SYSTEMS OF MEDICINA, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUE, HYDERABAD recognised on the base of Medicina Alternativa founded in Alma-Ata-1962 (U.S.S.R) also recognised the Open International University Complementary Medicines under Govt. Parliamentary Act. No. 16 of 1978, Govt. of Srilanka.

Registered by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh under Act applicable to advancement and promotion of science of Alternative medicines in several states of India.
